GLEN LOVE'S LUCIE TOO
On Saturday night, Sept 24th, 2005 I had the pleasure of seeing Lucie Arnaz. She performed 2 shows here at the Tilles Center on Long Island. 8pm & 10pm. I went to the 10pm show with Linda Burns of The Singing Experience and The New York Sheet Music Society. Lucies performance was spectacular. She was fabulous, singing songs in tribute to her dad as well as songs by Gershwin, Cy Coleman and others. Among my favorites were such songs as, "I'll See You In C.U.B.A.", "Nobody Does It Like Me" from Seesaw, "They're Playing Our Song", and "Hey Look Me Over" from Wildcat as an Encore, a song she said her mother (whom we all know and love) made famous. She looked great and sounded even greater. I saw her after the show, said hello and got some pictures.
